avocados and black butts
Speakin of Avocados and naked black rumps, here is one of my favorite foods. I made it up, although I really doubt I'm the first to do it.
Sliced avocado, sliced tomatoe, little salt, little peppa, enjoy!
YUM
oh, and as for the naked black rump, I got nothin.
Love over Avacados

Okay, this picture is just making my brain go "WHA!", but it has an avacado in it so it will pertain to my story!
The other day I was at Reams grocery shopping and was headed over to grab a few of these yummy things! And what to my surprise but did I find a skankily dressed young woman giggling to much older man.
"Oh (giggle giggle) do you squeeze them to see how ripe they are?"
"Yes!"
"Oh (giggle giggle) I never knew that (giggle giggle)"
"Oh!"
And so on and so forth went this cute little couples conversation, "where do you work?" "I own my own company" "wow" " yes me and my brother-in-law own it" blah blah blah. So this little love/giggle fest kept me from attaining the veg I was in need of, so off I went to get my fish. But somehow that coupld followed me around the store, giggling and making flirtatious comments. I could hardly stand it and was ready to just leave, so as I traveled to the front of the store to join the long ques of people, I noticed them once again. They were now exchanging numbers. The old man fumbled briefly to find a card, worried I think that if he hesitated a moment longer this young "lady" might realize what she was doing. Much to the delight of both their raging hormones, he was able to find his card. A few more giggles, a little grocery purchase and the trophy was out the door. The man was all smiles. I watched his smile grow bigger as I am sure he imagined what he was going to tell his children, "we found our love over avacados."

3 lbs
So I mentioned on my last post that I had started the 3 hour diet on Sunday. Today I was thinking,"there is no way this is working. I'm eating so much food and so much GOOD food (like cheese and cookies) it's impossible." Jorge promises you that you will lose 10 lbs in the first 14 days, which is a good amount. So this morning I weighed myself. I have lost three pounds in the last three days. Um, that's awesome. Even if I didn't want to lose weight, I would still follow this eating plan, because honestly, it's so realistic, something you can do the rest of your life, and soooo good. Go get the cook book! its nummy.....

3 hour "diet"
Okay, here I go. So I started the 3 hour diet eating plan yesterday, and so far I've LOVED everything I've made. I love his cookbook and I think it was a great investment. Plus, he has four different eating plans you can follow: meat lover, carb lover, veggie lover, and healthy heart. Well, I'm a carb lover, so any "diet" that cuts out carbs I'll stick to for about one meal and then its over. And it has plenty of yummy stuff in it that I love, like cheese :)
This morning I had the Breakfast Banana Split. It sounds kind of weird, but I assure you, I was literally licking the plate (I'm not kidding)
(for one serving)
1 cup nonfat vanilla yogurt
1/2 teaspoon flaxseed oil
1 small, ripe banana
1 Tbsp peanut butter
1 1/2 Tbsp wheat germ
1 6-ounce glass skim milk
1. Mix together the yogurt and the flaxseed oil in a bowl
2. Split the banana in half lengthwise and spread with peanut butter
3. Top with the yogurt mixture and sprinkle wheat germ
4. Eat up with a glass of cold milk
It was seriously soooo good!
I also made super easy tortilla pizzas for lunch today, and they were a hit:
(4 servings)
Four 6-inch flour tortillas
1 cup prepared pizza sauce (I couldn't find any, so I used tomato sauce and then added Emerils Garlic and Parmesan seasoning. YUM! and 0 calories, too)
4 ounces shredded low fat cheddar cheese (1/2 cup)
4 ounces shredded part skim mozerella cheese (1/2 cup)
4 ounces shredded low fat swiss cheese (1/2 cup) -(I couldn't find shredded low fat swiss cheese, so I just used a whole cup of the mozerella)
4 cups mixed salad greens
1 1/2 cup fat-free salad dressing (wishbone salad spritzers Italian is really good)
1. Preheat the oven 350 F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2. Place the tortillas on the baking sheet and spread with the pizza sauce and top with the cheeses.
3. Bake until the cheese just melts and the tortillas are crisp, 6-8 minutes
4. Meanwhile, toss the salad greens with the dressing and divide between four plates
5. Serve each person a pizza and a salad
tonight I'm making Spinach and Turkey Lasagna. I'll let you know how it turns out!
Meanwhile, lets get sharing, girls!
